Brand identity & rebranding

One brand, on every surface it touches.

An identity system built for every touchpoint, with a brand book your team, printers and partners can follow.

What it is

We design identity systems, not just logos: the mark, the colour, the type, the sub-brands and the rules that hold them together. Then we write it all into a brand book that keeps every designer, printer and agency on the same page.

Who it’s for

For brands that have outgrown their look.

  • You've added locations, products or services, and each one looks a little different.
  • Your logo was made for the company you were five years ago.
  • You're about to raise, launch or sign bigger clients, and the brand doesn't look the part yet.
  • You have a logo but no rules, so every supplier improvises.

What’s included.

Fixed scope, fixed price, written into the proposal before we start.

  • Brand audit (for rebrands): what to keep, what to fix, what to drop
  • Creative direction: references, moodboard and two visual directions with our recommendation
  • Logo system: wordmark, symbol and lockups for every format and background
  • Colour palette with accessible contrast pairs, typography and hierarchy
  • Graphic elements, photography direction and tone of voice
  • Brand architecture for sub-brands, locations or product lines
  • Applications: social, print, signage, merch, app icons, wherever the brand lives
  • Brand book (PDF) and the full export kit: SVG, PDF, PNG and editable source files

Five phases, with the files to show for it.

Every project moves through the same five phases. These artefacts come from the work below.

Discover

1/5

Research before anything is drawn.

Define

2/5

Positioning, routes and the brief we design to.

Design

3/5

The system, tested on real applications.

Timeline and investment.

Typical length: 5–8 weeks.

  1. Discover · 1 week: Kick-off, an audit of what exists, research on the market and the audience.
  2. Direction · 1–2 weeks: Two visual directions, each with its reasoning. We recommend one; you decide.
  3. System · 2–3 weeks: The chosen direction becomes a full system, tested on real applications.
  4. Brand book · 1 week: Every rule written down, with do and don't examples your team can follow.
  5. Handover · day 1: Export kit, source files and a walkthrough with your team.

Questions.

Rebrand or refresh: how do we know which we need?

If people recognise you and like you, a refresh keeps that equity and rebuilds the system around it. If the brand no longer fits what you sell or who you sell to, it's a rebrand. The audit answers this before you spend on design.

Will we lose recognition?

Not when it's done right. For ZENSUSHI we kept the original mark and built the system around it. For a sub-brand, we carry the parent's equity across, so people know where it comes from.

How many directions do we see?

Two, properly developed, each with its reasoning and our recommendation. Two strong options make a better decision than ten half-ideas.

Can you handle sub-brands, locations and product lines?

Yes. That's where a system earns its keep: a branch system for a medical group, specialty marks for a clinic, sub-brands for a padel club network.

Do we get the source files?

Yes: editable source files plus SVG, PDF and PNG exports, organised so a printer or developer finds what they need.

Who owns the identity?

You do, in full, once the project is paid.

Let’s talk about your project.

Tell us where the brand stands today and where the business is going. You’ll get a clear recommendation and a fixed price.
