Loyalty you can hold: a passport designed for NOVA's regulars.

A loyalty passport with a copper-foil cover, sticker sheets, key visual and client presentation, plus a winter logo system, for a party brand from Pitești.

Loyalty you can hold: a passport designed for NOVA's regulars.

The challenge

NOVA throws parties in Pitești and wanted to reward the people who keep coming back. The idea was a physical passport, sold or given with stickers, replacing the wristband for the whole season and linked to an upcoming app. It had to feel premium, read clearly, and explain six benefits without turning into a rulebook.

The insight

Make loyalty an object worth keeping: a real passport, with a sticker for every night you were there.

The approach

Our team fixed the rules before the layout: free entries included from day one, one sticker per edition, one typeface across everything, with full Romanian support. Our designers then built the object to print specification, black cover with copper hot foil, cream guilloche paper with unique numbering, kiss-cut sticker sheets, and presented it to the client with website mock-ups and a key visual for feed, story and web. A winter logo system followed for the season ahead.

Process

How we got there.

Define — Brief and rules

Six benefits from the client brief, then the decisions that shape the object: free entries included from day one, one sticker per edition, one typeface with full Romanian support.

Six benefits, three rules

Typeset summary of the NOVA passport brief: six benefits, from community access and three free parties to private-party invitations, and three rules for the object.

Design — The passport

Welcome, an ID page with a machine-readable strip, the six benefits, how it works, free-entry vouchers, sticker slots and visa pages for private parties, behind a black cover with copper foil.

Spreads and the copper-foil cover

The print specification page from FA's NOVA presentation: 88 x 125 mm passport, 16 interior pages, black cover with copper hot foil, cream guilloche paper with unique numbering, two kiss-cut sticker sheets and a PDF/X-4 print file.

Deliver — Stickers, key visual, deck

Kiss-cut sticker sheets, a key visual for post, story and web hero, website mock-ups, and a deck that walks the client through all of it.

Key visual, stickers and the client deck

The NOVA passport key visual as a 3:4 feed post and a 9:16 story, both showing the passport and round stickers under 'Pașaportul'.

Grow — NOVA Iarna

A winter version of the logo: a snowflake replaces the palm inside the A, tested in several shapes and two palettes before one sharp, crystal-like form was chosen.

Snowflake variants in two palettes

The NOVA Iarna logo system sheet: horizontal and vertical lock-ups in cobalt and turquoise, on light and dark backgrounds, with each palette's colour swatches.
The NOVA passport cover laid flat: the back with the NOVA pattern, the line 'Un singur obiect, la toate petrecerile.' and the brand's handles, and the front with the copper crest, 'Pașaportul' and 'Stagiunea 2026–2027'.
The NOVA passport open at its sticker pages: round edition stickers numbered 01 to 08 in orange, black and cream, with empty slots waiting for the season.
NOVA passport pages 4–5, 'Ce deschide pașaportul tău.': six numbered privileges, from community access and three free parties to fast-line entry and private parties.
NOVA Iarna, the winter logo, in two palettes: cobalt on night blue and turquoise on frost, with a crystal snowflake in place of the palm inside the A.
The two NOVA sticker sheets: numbered edition stickers 01 to 08 in orange, black and cream, and a sheet of specials such as Fast Line, Privat and free entry.
Inside the NOVA passport: the orange inner cover patterned with the NOVA logo beside page 1 with the crest, and pages 6–7 with three steps to a whole season and three free-entry vouchers.
NOVA Events poster 'First Light of Summer' with DJ Marco: glowing orange type over a sunset with palm silhouettes, at The Place, 5 June.
NOVA Events poster 'Summer's Golden Hour', vol. 2: a sunset party at Marcea Garden with the line-up in gold type over a crowd silhouetted against the sun.
NOVA passport launch post: 'NOVA Events prezintă Pașaportul' above the black passport surrounded by round edition stickers, with 'Un singur obiect, la toate petrecerile.'

Results

What it added up to.

The passport is designed to print specification, foil on its own layer and cut lines on every sticker, and presented to the client with mock-ups and a key visual for every channel. The winter logo system is ready in two palettes, alongside the season's posters and animated stories.

A note from Alex

The brief was short: premium, physical, and unmistakably NOVA. The six benefits came straight from my notes: community, free parties, knowing first, fast line, a cover for the app, private parties. The work was in the details nobody sees until they hold it: foil on its own layer, cut lines on the stickers, and one typeface that handles Romanian properly.
