A growing family of products, unmistakably one Youni.

Sub-brand identities, landing pages, decks, print and social for Youni, an education company for students who want to study abroad.

A growing family of products, unmistakably one Youni.

The challenge

Youni helps Romanian students prepare for and get into universities abroad, and keeps adding products and programmes: a career assessment, a learning app, a student league, a hackathon, an incubator. Each launch needed its own name on the page and its own materials, without the brand splitting into strangers.

The insight

Every new Youni product should look like a sibling, not a stranger: same palette, same circle, same tone.

The approach

Our designers kept one visual language, purple, magenta and orange around the Youni circle, and built each sub-brand inside it. The same system then carried through landing pages and open-graph images, sales decks, print and social posts, so a student feels at home whether they meet Youni in the app, in a career test or on a hackathon poster.

The project

Process

How we got there.

Define — One shared language

Purple, magenta and orange, and the Youni circle (Know How · The Dream · Matching · Thrive), set as the base every product inherits.

Palette and the Youni circle

The shared Youni language: the Youni4Youth cover with the colourful circle, and the Youni circle diagram of Know How, The Dream, Matching and Thrive around the Youni shield.

Design — Sub-brands

Career Assessment (2024), Youni League with 3D medals (2024), the Youni Center app logo and Youni Learn (2025), each a variation on the same system.

The sub-brand family

Four Youni sub-brands, each labelled: the Youni's Career Assessment open-graph card with a target and paper plane, the Youni League shield on black, the Youni Center app logo on purple, and the Youni Learn logo on black.

Design — Pages and decks

Landing-page assets and open-graph images for the site and study-abroad sections, plus decks for Youni4Youth and the grade 9–12 consultancy packages.

Open-graph images; EN/RO decks

Pages and decks for Youni: nine open-graph images for site sections: Home, Europe, the United States, Canada, the Netherlands, Spain, Australia, North America and Romania, beside the covers of the Youni4Youth deck and the consultancy packages deck.

Grow — Social posts and a proposed scope

Posts and carousels for the Olympiad, the Bac, the Hall of Fame and YouniHack 2025, then a proposed always-on scope of static posts and educational carousels with ad variants for every placement.

Proposed monthly scope, May 2025

The monthly social design scope proposed to Youni in May 2025, typeset: 12 static posts, 8 educational carousels and ad versions in 1:1, 4:5 and 9:16, beside the closing slide of the YouniHack 2025 carousel thanking the sponsors in a green terminal style.
The 'Studiază în Asia' section of younichoice.com on desktop, with the Great Wall in pink mist as the hero and an orange sub-navigation, beside the University of Tokyo page on mobile.
Three Youni pages on phones: the homepage hero, the 'Studiază în Europa' page and the Youni's Center Math Bootcamp landing page.
The Youni's Center Math Bootcamp landing page on desktop: 'Evaluarea Națională la Matematică e mai ușoară ca oricând', session details and a countdown on a purple hero.
Two gold Youni League medals on purple ribbons, embossed with the Youni shield and 'High Schools League'.
Youni stationery: three notebook covers ('Focus mode', 'Very focused, very mindful' and 'Your voice, your university choice') and a purple lanyard printed with the multicolour Youni blocks.
Two Youni tote bags: an orange and white bag with a playful hand-drawn character, and a pink bag with a phone illustration and the Youni shield.
Brushed-steel Youni water bottle with a purple cap, the Youni shield and the words 'Don't forget to hydrate!'.
Youni × 4Youth festival booth: a counter wrapped in the multicolour Youni pattern with the line 'Educația prinde vibe-ul verii' under a Youni and 4Youth header.
Pages from the Youni4Youth deck: the cover with the 4YOUTH logo and the Youni circle of Know How, The Dream, Matching and Thrive, a page of what high-school students look for, and a page on camps and conferences.
Youni die-cut sticker sheet in purple, pink, orange and blue: Youni Learn, Youni's Academy, 4Youth, Youni Blog, the 15,000+ badge, puzzle pieces, hearts and the Youni shapes.

Results

What it added up to.

Youni's sub-brands now share one recognisable system across web pages, decks, print and social, from the app to the hackathon poster. Each new programme launches with its own name and materials, and still reads as Youni at first glance.

A note from Alex

I've worked alongside Youni for years, so I know how fast a new programme goes from idea to launch. The job was never one logo. It was keeping a family of products recognisable while each one found its own voice, so a student feels at home in the app, the career test or a hackathon poster.
